California’s premier wine producing valleys.
Cabernet is king in Napa. There are close to 400 bonded wineries in this Valley, so we never really run out of choices. With 16 sub AVA’s in Napa Valley, we are certain to find more than one that become your favorite.
Less discovered than Napa Valley, this Valley is home to some of the oldest wineries in California. Smaller boutique style wineries or some of the established names with which you are familiar offer sensory delights.
Russian River Valley
No other area offers as much opportunity for a sense of discovery as the Russian River Appellations. Very small wineries with low production on small country lanes. The cooler climate allows for production of more Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. Dry Creek Valley is home to some awesome Zinfandel vineyards.
Terroir (ter ‘ war)
“The complete natural environment in which a particular wine is produced, including soil, topography, and climate.”
